Project news Vouge Hamilton
Delighted to be part of a team appointed to oversee the restoration and conversion of the La Scala Picture House in Hamilton also known as the Vouge cinema into social housing. This 1920's gem by architect James McKissack (b.1875 d.1940) has been on the Buildings at Risk Register since 2008. McKissack was a prolific cinema architect who's notable work includes the Cosmo Cinema on Rose Street, Glasgow now GFT and the Vouge in Govan.
