It was a pleasure to attend the official opening of the rural car park and nature trail at Glenbarr on Saturday 29th August 2026. Following the official opening, the community gathered around a BBQ to celebrate the achievements of the contractor and design team who delivered the project on behalf of the Glenbarr Community Development Association. The day was enjoyed by young and old and there was even a heritage tractor on display to lend a hand.

Works have started on site to construct a car park in the village of Glenbarr in Argyll. The provision of a car park in Dal an Duie field connects existing and proposed walks and features within the Glenbarr Abbey designed landscape which include the house, Doocot, riverside walks and woodland on behalf of Glenbarr Community Development Association.

A return visit to Kinnear Road completed in 2020 pleased to see that the planting has matured nicely.
