Private Garden
Glasgow
MBLA prepared proposals for Loader Monteith Architects and Cameron Webster Architects for a new house in Glasgow's west end
The house is sunk into the landscape to minimise its visual impact from public vantage points, as well as the surrounding buildings
The building has been carefully sited in order to retain mature trees, notably a 30m high lime tree to the south of the plot
Proposals include a green roof which will be planted up with Alpines
