Connected Dunmore

Falkirk

MBLA recently completed a feasibility study titled Connected Dunmore, part of the Falkirk Great Place project - celebrating Places, People, Traditions and Industry in the Falkirk Area on behalf of Falkirk Community Trust.

The feasibility study proposed new waymarked and signed routes to connect the Dunmore Pineapple and reveal and interpret heritage assets within the Dunmore Estate. Examined ways to sensitively integrate an car parking within the 'lesser' walled garden.

Proposals were drawn up by Loader Monteith Architects for the 'Hut' to replace the existing Bowling Green Pavilion within Dunmore village.

A structural survey and report of the heritage assets was prepared by David Narro Associates.

Project team included David Narro Associates, Loader Monteith Architects and Heritage Project Support.
